We have been looking for a halal sandwich shop like this for ever! So happy that we found them and introduced them to our friends and community. Food and service were great. I loved Mama Mia sandwich. Fresh ingredients and good portion.

We just had a spicy pastrami sandwich halal. It was delicious. The owner was very courteous and made the sandwich according to our liking. We also tried their trio tonic. Very good. We will definitely visit this sandwich place again.

Sandwiches can be hit or miss, but sometimes you stumble upon a relatively new hidden gem and you just want to share with everyone. Well, this is that time! Oakmont Sandwiches located in Cupertino is truly a hidden gem and makes one heck of a sandwich. Oakmont is the Bay Area's first halal deli and actually opened in October last year. While the business was growing and people were starting to figure out how good of a sandwich they made the shop had a bit of an incident back in February. A car plowed through the storefront and disrupted business for a bit. But, no fear, they've bounced back better than ever and even took the time to evolve their menu even more! (More on that in a bit) Walking in you'll see a menu of breakfast sandwiches/burritos, juices, and a nice selection of sandwiches. If you like your sandwiches spicy, they have an amazing assortment of options to satisfy that with their spicy cheeses (habanero or Ghost pepper cheese!) and sauces - the Sweet Heat is absolutely delicious. The sandwiches are prepared with fresh ingredients and the bread is almost all made in house. They really load up these sandwiches and the portions are huge so you'll likely get to enjoy half immediately with half for a snack later on. We can't emphasize enough how delicious the bread on these sandwiches are. You'll definitely want to pair your sandwich with one of their freshly squeezed juices. They use a really cool machines and squeeze the juice right in front of you so you know it's fresh. So, back to how they've recently evolve their shop! Coming soon, Oakmont Sandwiches will include Brew Bytes Cafe where you can go in, enjoy a nice drink/coffee while you're having your sandwich. We didn't have a chance to try to coffee when we were there but we're excited to come back and try some of the drinks from the cafe. Astounded by the taste and quality of the sandwiches here, as well as the care and effort put into them! I tried both their Salami Bhai and Kesariya Chicken Subs and added personal customizations to each. These might be some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I opted to toast the bread with cheese and meat. Each sub came out to be the perfect balance of warm, soft crunchy bread, savory meats, melty cheese and fresh veggies. What elevates the sandwich even more are their two house-made sauces; sweet heat & chipotle are a must! Their bread is homemade too. Highly recommend the dutch crunch! Another important mention is their freshly squeezed juices with no additional additives. So good. An overall great place to get high quality sandwiches, and another plus that everything's halal! The shop itself is quite small with very minimal seating, but we felt at home dining there. The owner was really nice and informative, consistently asking us if we needed anything.

I stopped by here to try the halal sandwiches, then I was surprised that they had breakfast burritos too. I tried the fiesta breakfast burrito and it was delicious. It was loaded with the freshest ingredients. They took their time to craft such a delicious burrito. The eggs, sweet potato, and pico de gallo stood out in this burrito. All the ingredients had the freshest taste. It was great, piping hot. I had a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice at a low price. The price is unbeatable and there is no added water or sweetener. This was perfect to me. Since the burrito was so good, I also ordered a kesariya chicken sandwich with dutch crunch bread to take home for the next day. The sandwich was huge and filled me up the next day. It also had very fresh ingredients and nice amount of flavor. I ordered their homemade cookies too. The chocolate was was and gooey, best when warm, I really liked the homemade sweet heat and chipotle sauces. They went great with the sandwiches. The parking is easy in the Oakmont plaza. The service was friendly and the ambience was just like a cafe. It's a perfect place to stop for breakfast or lunch. I would come back any time.

Looking for the biggest, cheapest sandwiches in Silicon Valley? Look no further! They don't even charge you for fresh avocado. Have you heard of that at a sandwich place?? I haven't and I'd be back just for that!! Just be warned that if it is busy, it could take a little bit of time. It might be well worth it, though for a huge $7 sandwich that could last you two meals! Also I usually love Dutch crunch but this wasn't my fav I'd prefer the fluffy wheat roll. I tried the chicken and flavors were good but it was a bit dry. Might stick with the turkey next time! I also wish they would toast a tad bit longer! I'll definitely be back!

Run, don't walk to to get some great subway style sandwiches. I didn't measure the sandwiches but the ham and Swiss I ordered on a white roll was probably 10" long filled with meat, cheese and veggies on a soft homemade roll. It was an unbelievable $6 for the sandwich. It was so good that I went back the next day and ordered 4 sandwiches to take home. I ordered a turkey, cheese and bacon sandwich that also came with fresh sliced avocado in addition to the other veggies. I ordered a ham, turkey, cheese and bacon sandwich with fresh sliced avocado and other veggies. The only up charge was $2 for a ton of bacon. I also ordered a Turkey and cheese with avocado and another ham and cheese. I ordered another ham and Swiss for me. We were going to eat the sandwiches later so I asked if they would put the veggies on the side, which they happily did...just such very nice people and over the top customer service. I love this place. Anywhere else, sandwiches that large with things like cheese and avocado as part of a standard sandwich would easily cost you $16 plus. If you are anywhere near Oakmont Deli, you have to stop by and bring your appetite for a great American style subway sandwich. Eat one there and order extra sandwiches to go for family and friends. Btw, ignore the very, very few haters. Almost all of the reviews compliment the staff, value and food, rewarding them with the 5 stars they deserve and earn.
